Phew. This clip (above) is a little exhausting. Let's give you some details before you jump into it.

On Monday, Nancy Grace made a not so tactful comment while discussing the investigation of Whitney Houston's cause of death. Anyone who has ever watched Nancy's show before realizes that she is a brazen woman, prone to saying things that others wouldn't dare say. In regards to Whitney, rather than just say that investigators had to rule out murder as a cause of death, she painted a graphic image that horrified a lot of people, alluding to someone "pushing" or holding Whitney under the water in the tub.

This morning, Nancy was asked on Good Morning America to explain her speculation and word choice, but true to form, she made no apologies for her statements and insisted that she was merely referring to the reality of the tragedy.

Check out the video to watch the prosecutor instincts come flying out of her and hear her defense.

The truth of the matter is, she could have been more delicate, but that's just not Nancy's style. So, you either have to take her at face value, which is abrasive, or just put her out of your mind.

Watch: The Glee Version Of Adeles Rolling In The Deep

On tonight’s episode of Glee, Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) duets with Jesse St. James (Jonathan Groff) on Adele‘s stunningly beautiful song Rolling in the Deep. We are still a few hours away from tonight’s ep of Glee … but if you just can’t wait any longer, you can check out video from tonight’s ep of [...]

So these cold-like symptoms that I picked up over the weekend have been kicking my butt a bit. I wouldn’t say I’m really “sick” per se but I have been feeling kinda crappy for the past couple of days. Sore throat, runny/stuffy nose and some body aches … you know, the usual. I ended up staying home all day yesterday which actually turned out to be a great idea because I was able to watch a bunch of episodes of the brilliant 90′s teen drama My So-Called Life on Netflix.

Now, I’ve owned My So-Called Life on DVD for years now … but I never got around to watching the show. In fact, I haven’t watched the show since it aired on TV back in 94-95. I had forgotten how amazingly well written the show is and watching the first few eps last night reminded me of what a groundbreaking and important show it truly was. Of course, good shows don’t necessarily mean good ratings and My So-Called Life was canceled way before it should’ve been. My So-Called Life featured an openly gay teen character (Ricky, played by Wilson Cruz) YEARS before anyone else and it really told stories that were really real. The writing is the best thing about the show, yes, but the acting performances by the young cast (Claire Danes, Jared Leto, etc) is also really remarkable. I know that some of you young’ns out there have never seen or even heard of My So-Called Life … but for those of you who do remember the show, I urge you to take another look. It deffo holds up as a great show. I may not have been feeling all that well last night but at least I was able to enjoy my evening with the My So-Called Life kids ;)

No plans for tonight … I’ll prolly keep recuperating. We’ll see. Happy Tuesday!!

The 5 Best Who Albums Of All Time And Why

These days, Dr. Dre mixtapes are some of the most in demand in the world of new mixtapes. However, just like every other artist in the hip hop industry, he had to start at the bottom and work his way up to the top. It was not always easy, but it combination of talent and determination helped him to eventually rise to the top of his highly competitive game.

J. Cole Concert at the Charlottesville Pavilion

It simply wouldn't be Christmas without the carols we all know and love. Playing the piano is a great way to share the songs of the season with family and friends. Luckily, many Christmas carols are easy for beginners to play on the piano. Keep in mind that while these simple carols can be easily self-taught, it is always helpful to enlist the help of a piano instructor. The following three classic carols are an especially good place for the beginning piano player to start.

Rockabilly Music: That Unlikely Mixture of Musical Styles Changed the Face of Pop Music

Any attempt to try and compile a best Frank Zappa albums of all time list would be met by any of his hardcore fans with disdain and scornful eyebrows (at best). Most of us realised long ago that to make any semi-worthwhile assessment of Frank involves taking into account his ENTIRE body of work - itself a gargantuan task with some 60-odd albums released up to his death in 1993, and many others from his family's vault in Los Angeles since. I guess the only plausible reason anybody would begin such an exercise is one borne out of nostalgia.

Music is widely known all over the world. For some, this is their form of positive reinforcement while others make this as their way of earning money. The good news is music has also been developing throughout the years. From the regular analog music, they now come in compressed forms like digital music.

Lindsay Lohan Her Extensions Continue To Do Community Service

Troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan — who will most likely never play Stevie Nicks in any film but may be a new convert of the Church of Scientology — made another visit to the Downtown Women’s Center to fulfill some of the 320 hours she has to serve there as part of her probation violation punishment. Mandy Moore stars in a new romantic comedy titled Love Wedding Marriage and despite the fact that the film also features real-life couple Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof (who I LOVE), there’s another more important reason to see the film. In the movie, Kellan Lutz plays Mandy‘s love interest and wouldn’t you know it … Lutz appears mostly nekkid in the film. In a stroke of advertising genius, Kellan‘s half-nekkid body is also featured in the film’s movie trailer … which you can check out below.

Ok … let’s be real … this movie TOTALLY looks like one of those romcoms that shows up in theaters for a few weeks and then disappears never to be heard or thought of again. To be honest, it barely caught my attending … er, that is until that shirtless Kellan Lutz scene popped up. That being said, I kinda love the idea of Alyson and Alexis playing a feuding couple so … Love Wedding Marriage has actually become a must see movie for me. I’m counting on the chance that there will be more than just one shirtless Kellan Lutz scene so … yeah, I’ll take the chance and check this movie out. Will you?

How The Internet Is Changing The Way We Buy Concert Tickets

Many parents often wonder about when is the right age for their children to start taking guitar lessons. Unlike with other musical instruments, such as the piano, flute or violin, the guitar is a bigger instrument and so you need to take this into account. Most schools tend to have guitar lessons for children once they have reached the age of 7 or thereabouts.

When Do Kids Start Learning to Play the Guitar?

Many people who take up wanting to learn to play guitar often start their lessons wondering how long it will take them to become reasonably good at it. It's hard to give a time limit when it comes to learning a musical instrument because it really depends what level you want to get to. This is the same no matter what instrument or any other type of skill you want to learn to master.

Hugh Hefners Wedding Invitation Revealed!

If you have the wedding blues, never fear, the grossest wedding of the year is almost here! Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris have sent out their invitations and the big day is just around the corner! Hef may have just celebrated his 85th birthday, but that has nothing on his upcoming marriage to 24 year old Crystal Harris. I thought it was a bit weird when Hef divorced his wife Kimberley Conrad. They had been married for several years, but were clearly separated for 11 years before actually divorcing. Well, it all made sense when he proposed to Crystal just a few months later. Now I am not saying she’s a gold digger, but Hef isn’t exactly in his prime. As our friends a Backseat Cuddler pointed out, her plan must be to be his widow, cause he can’t possibly offer her a lifetime of happiness. I am also kinda upset cause if anyone deserved a ring it was Holly Madison. She worked it, and seemed like she truly loved Hef. Holly has already confirmed that she will not be attending saying, “I feel like the attention should be on them. It shouldn’t be about ex-girlfriends showing up and what [...]

Pedal Board Flight Cases

Classical acoustic guitar is the most popular string instrument in the world. If you want to buy it, you will have plenty of choices. However, you should be very careful while choosing this instrument, because it is not so easy. The most important thing is to test the guitar before you pay for it. Firstly, you need to estimate the look of the guitar. Secondly, you should select a guitar of good size, quality and tone.

The Influences of Colonial Europeans on the Music of the Black African Slaves of the Americas

When it comes to the South as a whole, there are many different dimensions and regions to consider. Especially when you're talking about rap music. Most rap fans know very little about the rap groups from the south, outside of Outkast. So let's take a look into the eyes of the South and see what's cooking. In no particular order, these are my picks for the best southern rap groups of all time.

Vocal EQ

I don't know if Elvis' number coming up in the last days of 1957 was orchestrated purposefully or not, but when Elvis was drafted into the army for a two-year stint, there was no doubt a lot of controversy swirling around him. It's no secret that there were many people who didn't like Elvis. They didn't like his long hair, his raw sensuality, his "suggestive" stage presence, his success, his fame, or anything else about him. So it's not too farfetched an idea to believe that his selection for service was perhaps less than random. If someone did pull a few strings to get Elvis inducted--and thus put a damper on his career--they didn't understand who they were dealing with and the movement that was under way.

Videotaping Your Magic Practices

In ancient times, and in various cultures, the human body and making love was admired and encouraged and was shown through paintings, sculptures, or ceramics. The genitals would often be publicly shown or would even be considerably exaggerated. The extent of the genitalia was declared a symbol of amorous authority or power in man.

Home Recording Studio Tips: Learn How to Record Songs at Home

For a man who has gone through depression and drug addiction, divorce twice, serious personal injury (after a 1969 motorcycle accident in Martha's Vineyard) and family bereavement (with the loss of his brother Alex in 1993), it is astonishing that James Taylor's life in music has been largely an expression of sensitivity, hope and compassion - not of self-pity, anger or blind hostility. For these reasons alone, I appreciate James Taylor music so much.

James Taylor was born 12 March 1948 in Boston, Massachusetts, the second of five children, to a father who practiced medicine and a mother who trained as an opera singer. Taylor was to become one of the biggest stars to emerge from the late 60s / early 70s folk-rock phenomenon, a more soulful practitioner than such earthier, troubadour predecessors as Woody Guthrie or Bob Dylan.

Tattoo Given In School

… And the art teacher watched as the fellow student inked the 16-year-old and two other kids.

Really?!

That's pretty atrocious, to have someone who is in an authority position completely ignore the dangers that this poses. And it DID have dangers, it turns out:

Lovella Deloatch let her daughter Timisha get her grandmother's initials professionally tattooed on her arm and the words "beautiful nightmare" on her lower back.

That was before they learned Timisha is a type 1 diabetic.

"It could get infected easily, she could get gangrene easily. It wouldn't heal, it could still be bleeding and I wouldn't know because it was on the inside, she could lose a limb, anything. She might have made a bad judgement call for herself, but she's 16, the adult was supposed to have stepped in and said no."

We just don't know how this makes sense to someone who was hired to teach these kids. It's such a stupid idea. Seriously. Even the most reckless person could see it!

An investigation is under way, of course, and we'd definitely like to see something done about this!

Terrible!

The Search for the Greatest Piano Teacher

Peter Hook and the Light brought their "Unknown Pleasures" show back to London's Scala, much to the joy of Joy Division fans both young and not so young. Young fans looking for new alternative music will find that, despite the passage of 30 years, Joy Division's songs sound fresh, and they will see the clear influence this band exerts right now on many of today's most famous names. Peter Hook and the Light, like the original Joy Division, is a different beast entirely than Joy Division on their two studio albums. To me, this is disappointing because it tends to make their live sound too similar to a host of other rock bands. That said, Peter Hook is one of the most important figures in British popular music in the last...well, ever to be frank. If he prefers to ditch the complicated audio processing and return to his roots, then he is quite probably right to do so.

Last night, David and I were graciously invited for a dinner date at Ollie and Caleb’s home downtown so we JUMPED at the chance to hang out at their place. Having tasted Ollie’s cooking before, I knew that we would be in for a real treat. The four of us haven’t hung out in a while so we were anxious to just hang out and chill together so that we could play records and catch up on what’s been going on in our lives. While we were all relaxing, David struck up a new love affair with a member of Ollie and Caleb’s family … and it was love at first sight!

David and Daphne (Ollie & Caleb’s pooch) have been good friends for a while but they really hit it off together last night. This photo of the two of them looking out the window together is just the perfect example of their special friendship … aren’t they just the cutest?

Anyways, as I said … Ollie cooked an amazing meal and we all had a blast! Tonight, David and I are planning to hang out with Emma and Josh who we also haven’t seen in a while so … it’s gonna be another couple’s date night tonight! It’s Hump Day, y’all … I hope YOURS is a great one :D

Before it was Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera, it was Tiffany vs. Debbie Gibson. Back in the late 80′s, Tiffany and Debbie battled it out for the hearts, minds and souls of pop fans as the dueling teen pop stars competed for pop supremacy. This Summer, after All This Time of wasted Electric Youth, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson will lay down their arms and perform TOGETHER for the first time ever!

Live Nation is pleased to present Debbie Gibson and Tiffany, together for the very first time, at the NYCB Theatre at Westbury on July 29 at 8 pm. Tickets are $69.50, $39.50 and $29.50 and go on sale this Friday, April 22 at 10 a.m. Tickets are available at www.livenation.com, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or at the Westbury box office (Box Office opens at Noon). Event, date and time are subject to change. Tickets are subject to applicable service charges. For membership information, visit www.westburymembership.com

Merrick’s Debbie Gibson rose to fame while still in high school. Her debut single, “Only In My Dreams” was released in the summer of 1987 and was followed in the fall by “Shake Your Love.” Out of the Blue her debut album was released that fall and by the spring of 1988, the title track had climbed to number three on the charts. With the release of her fourth single, “Foolish Beat,” Debbie Gibson became the youngest artist to write, produce and perform a #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. ”Lost in Your Eyes,” the first single from her sophomore effort, Electric Youth became her biggest hit, staying at number one for three weeks. In addition to her recording career, Debbie Gibson has starred on Broadway in “Les Miserables” and “Beauty and the Beast.” She starred in London in the West End production of “Grease” and toured nationally in “Grease,” “Funny Girl,” and appeared at the Paper Mill Playhouse in “Gypsy.” More recently she was seen in her second SyFy film “Mega Python vs. Gatorid” with Tiffany as her co-star.

TIFFANY is back! …to her roots. The dynamic voice of the 80s has returned to where it all started for her, country music and the Nashville music scene. Now a critically praised songwriter, Tiffany is set to capture your hearts again…with her new album of country/rock tunes! Tiffany began her career at the age of 13 when she signed her first recording contract with MCA. The self-titled debut album was released in 1987 and eventually went quadruple platinum. The innovative “Mall Tour” that followed proved to be the signature for Tiffany’s early career and was very effective in targeting her core audience of young teens making Tiffany the youngest female artist to debut at number one on the Billboard charts. Tiffany produced three top ten hits, two of which were national and international #1 pop singles “Could’ve Been” and the celebrated “I Think We’re Alone Now.” The soon-to-be teen pop phenomenon, New Kids on the Block, got their big break as the opening act for her world tour. Tiffany released her second album, Hold An Old Friend’s Hand, which went double platinum and featured the top ten hit “All This Time.”

I would just DIE to see these two perform together. It’s unclear if this show is a one-off performance or if they are planning to hit the road together but if New Kids on the Block can go on tour with Backstreet Boys, then I don’t see why Tiffany and Debbie can’t do the same. In about 30 years, I full expect Britney and Xtina to do this very same thing … but for now, I’d totally settle for Tiff and Deb :D
