Idina Menzel Is Returning To Glee Next Season!!!
And apparently, this is NOT going to be like last time when she showed up for five episodes just to run off with Puck and Quinn's baby and never make an attempt to be a real mother to Rachel Berry! Apparently, she's sticking around AND getting a BIG ARC!
When Lea Michele stepped onto the scene [...]
And it's not just the cast that has changed.
Original Tony-nominated director Michael Greif is bringing Rent back to the New York stage with an off-Broadway production of the modern classic by Jonathan Larson. The show will feature the same music and story, but Michael is prepared to do things more artistically with the costumes and stage design. He explains to Playbill Magazine:
"Over the years that I've watched the show, there were things I wanted to change. When we did it internationally or for tours, I made changes. This seemed like a chance for an overhaul. Working with a new choreographer, on a new set with new costumes and a new projection design, really invigorated me."
Hopefully, die hard Rentheads will feel the same! At least the cast is impressive, with Annaleigh Ashford as Maureen, Adam Chanler-Berat as Mark and Arianda Fernandez as MiMi. Vanity Fair actually got a sneak peek at the production (opening Aug. 11 at the New World Stages) so have a looksie at the gallery (below) to see some of the changes made.
Thoughts???

Suspected Cult Leader Kills Four Year Old Boy Because He Believed Him To Be Gay
This is possibly the most horrific, tragic, and chilling story that we've heard in quite some time.
Peter Lucas Moses, a religious extremist and possible cult leader in North Carolina, has been charged with not only killing 28-year-old Antoinetta Yvonne McKoy, but also his four-year-old stepson Jadon Higganbothan, because he believed him to be gay!
According to [...]
Seriously - how do movies like this continue to get made?!
Feel free to check out the trailer for Adam Sandler's new movie, Jack & Jill, in which he plays the dual parts of a married man dealing with the return of his obnoxious, clearly not female twin sister, which also stars Katie Holmes and Al Pacino (above)!
Or don't. It's just as atrocious-looking as it sounds!
Do people actually think comedians dressed in bad drag parading around as though they look legitimately female are funny?!
Barf!

Watch: The Ringer Discussion Panel At 2011 San Diego Comic Con
David and I were able to see the new musical Tales Of The City currently in production here in San Francisco, CA and despite not having read any reviews about the show we were very excited to see the show. I’m a HUGE fan of the original PBS miniseries Tales Of The City and hold the characters created by Armistead Maupin very near and dear to my heart. I was hoping to love the show … and thankfully, that’s exactly what I did :D
Because the original books and miniseries are so well done and beloved by fans, there was concern that the musical may not measure up. For the most part, Tales Of The City the musical really holds on to the original spirit of the stories and presents the characters in a very respectful way. The music, written by Jake Shears from Scissor Sisters, is actually quite good. Some of the songs could use a bit more work but for the most part, they do compliment the story very well. There is a song for the Michael Mouse Tolliver character where he reads (sings) a coming out letter to his mother … it’s heartbreakingly touching … it actually made me cry. The show has so much heart and is really fun. The staging is very inventive. If you are familiar with the way 28 Barbary Lane looks in the miniseries, you will be pleasantly surprised how much the stage version of the house comes to life with the same look and feel. The acting was superb … really. I loved every single actor on that stage. I hope this show makes it to Broadway … I think it might do very well. I believe Tales Of The City is one of the most charming stories out there … and this new musical is a charming NEW way to experience the drama and fun at 28 Barbary Lane. The show is being performed until July 31 so those of you here in SF have a few more days to see it … DO NOT miss it, I beg of you. This show should be experience in the city it is set in. You won’t be sorry, I’m sure of it.

Will DanRad Bring His Success To The Big Screen?
The reviews are in and much more rather than less, people are really digging Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.
But what does the future hold? If the show really takes off on Broadway, is there a chance DanRad would follow the show to the big screen for a [...]
This is going to get nasty.
A date has been set for Charlie Sheen to finally legally go head-to-head against Warner Bros and Chuck Lorre over him being fired from Two and a Half Men.
Rather than bore you with a lot of legal jargon, we're going to explain the dealio fairly simply - Charlie wants what Charlie wants and he isn't going to stop until he gets it. Right now, what he wants is his $100 million lawsuit against the studio and the exec to be a public trial. He wants the whole dog-and-pony show aired live around the world for everyone to see. That's the last thing the WB/Chuck want, so they are fighting him on that point before they even get to the $100mil lawsuit.
So, on April 19, all parties will go to court to decide on whether or not this whole thing should play out in court.
Make sense? Good!
If not, blame Charlie.

Camille Grammer Opens Up A Little Too Much About Her EX!
Yeah, no one needed to know about Kelsey Grammer's "manscaping" habits! YUCK!

Because where else should he divulge his inner, most private feelings about something like this.
And before you even say it the answer is no - 140 characters just aren't enough to get the point across.
The HBO hit show Entourage came to a close this week and one of it's most recognizable stars, Adrian Grenier, took to his Facebook shortly after to share a message with his fans. He posted on his wall:
"I am sad that Entourage is over, but we had a great run, and it allowed me to connect with you guys. And for all that I'm thankful. I'm going through some big changes and can't quite make sense of such an epic transition. I hope, no matter what I move on to, we can all still be friends."
So long as the movie remains in the works, we don't think you have much to worry about, AG.
All good things must come to end - but they sure as hell better find a way onto the big screen afterwards!

Jared Leto Shows Off His Skirt
Halle Berry, who we last saw tooling around SoCal on the back of boyfriend Olivier Martinez‘s motorcycle, decided to ditch her man so that she could take her only begotten daughter Nahla Ariela to the Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in Beverly Hills, CA for an afternoon of pumpkin picking fun yesterday afternoon … behold:
Awww … so cute. I gotta say, I much prefer photos of Halle with Nahla over photos of Halle with almost anyone else. Little Miss Nahla is just too cute for words. It really looks like mother and daughter had a grand time together :D

Huzzah!! ‘Tis time, once again, to gawk and gander at the Hot Dude of the Week! Today’s fine specimen of Hot Dudeness hails from my home State of Michigan and was photographed by the extremely talented Liem Pham. Say hello to Andreas Orihuela:
I understand that the young Master Andreas is new to modeling but I’d say, based on just this photo alone, he is off to a great start. There are many things I love about my home State of Michigan, not the least of which is its natural beauty … as you can see, we grow ‘em nice and fine in the Wolverine State. Enjoy!!
